Terms of Service

These terms cover the international version of the YiQ Translate browser extension and this website (together, "YiQ"). By installing or using YiQ, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use YiQ.

You must be at least 13 years old to use YiQ. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian. YiQ is not currently offered in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.

• An account is for one person. Keep your email account secure — anyone who can read your sign-in codes can use your YiQ account.
• We give free tokens when you sign up and when you check in daily. Free tokens have no cash value, are non-transferable and are not redeemable for money.
• Check-in tokens, including streak bonuses, expire at the end of the day you claim them.
• We may change the amount of free tokens or how they are given. We'll announce changes on this website before they take effect.

You agree not to:

• create multiple accounts, or fake your device or time zone, to collect extra free tokens or to get around regional availability;
• access our servers other than through the YiQ extension, including with scripts or automated tools;
• reverse engineer, disrupt or attack the service;
• use YiQ for anything illegal.

When you translate content from other websites, you are responsible for following those websites' terms.

You keep whatever rights you have in the content you translate. Content on third-party websites belongs to its owners. We don't claim ownership of your content or of the translations we produce for you.

You give us permission to process the content you send us only to provide translations to you. We don't use it to train AI models. You are responsible for making sure that your translation and use of third-party content is allowed.

Translations are produced by AI and may contain mistakes or omissions. Don't rely on them for legal, medical, financial or other important decisions — check the original text.

YiQ currently has no paid plans. If we introduce them, payments will be handled by a payment provider acting as the merchant of record, and the purchase terms and refund policy will be published before anything is charged.

• We may add, change or remove features.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
• You can delete your account at any time by emailing qianmu0331@gmail.com.
• If we decide to stop offering YiQ, we'll give advance notice on this website and notify account holders by email.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YiQ is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

We don't guarantee that YiQ will be uninterrupted, error-free or able to translate every website.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim related to YiQ is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in Shanghai, China. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the YiQ extension for your own use. The YiQ software and branding remain the property of us or our licensors. No ownership rights in the software or branding are transferred to you.

If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding YiQ and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.

When these terms change, we update the "Last updated" date above and announce significant changes before they take effect. If you keep using YiQ after a change, you accept the updated terms.
